One of the most heat resistant materials used in applications, titanium is a premium metal with several important properties. Ti. Grade 2 Pipe Flanges is one of the most popular commercially pure titanium grades. Stronger than grade 1, but it has less strength than grade 2. However, commercially pure titanium alloys have good ductility and the corrosion resistance property of these Titanium Flanges is outstanding. A property that is unique to titanium is low strength to weight ratio. Since the metal is very light in weight, the demand for Titanium Slip On Flange is very high in the automobile and in aerospace engineering. Components of the aerospace engineering need to be very lightweight and have to have outstanding resistance to corrosion, while also exhibiting high tensile properties, all of which are characteristics of the Titanium Lap Joint Flange. The oxidation resistance of titanium is also very high. Since the metal is very alloyable, many manufacturers use different elements to produce different grades of titanium. One such grade is the Ti 6Al-4V or what is referred to as grade 5 by many Titanium Exhaust Flange manufacturers. The main alloy constituents of Titanium Blind Flanges grade 5 alloy includes 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium, which improves the heat resistance behaviour of the alloy.
