Copper-nickel products have superior corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, making them a valued asset, especially in marine engineering. The high content of copper in Copper Nickel 70/30 Pipe Fittings, gives it resistance against brine solution. Therefore if the fittings are to be used near coastal areas, they make an ideal accompaniment. Usually, soldering forms a permanent attachment to the piping system. The addition of nickel significantly improves the high temperature performance of the alloy. Nickel also improves the corrosion resistance of UNS C71500 Cu-Ni UNS C71500 Seamless Fittings.
